Sidemount
Sidemount means that we place the tanks on the side of the body instead of on the back. The equipment has weight pockets in which you can distribute the weights uniquely for each diver. This way you get a streamlined profile with perfect balance in the water.
Another advantage of having the tanks on each side is that you dive with two redundant systems that are much easier to monitor and manage in the event of a problem.
The course focuses on:
the equipment, its setup, function and configuration
trim and balance in the water
learn how to handle the equipment on land and especially in the water
various skills such as crane drill, spring breathing, boom drill and gas sharing.
The course includes four dives and theory and is usually conducted over a weekend.
