I am Anders Etander.
Diving is My Passion
I live in Märsta north of Stockholm and dive everywhere there is water, in Sweden and around the world. Shallow and deep, on wrecks or in mines and caves.
I got my first diving certificate in 1989, but it wasn't until 2011 that things really took off. Since then, I've done just over 200 dives a year. So far, I've done around 2,800 dives in total, of which over 1,000 have been sidemount. I'm certified to +100 meters on both open system and rebreather, both courses were conducted in the Långban mine.
I am involved in all five mines that offer diving in Sweden; Tuna Hästberg, A-mine, Sala Silvergruva, Långban and Nordmarksberg. I am also the head of diving at Tuna Hästberg.
I am a MOD 1 instructor at KISS Sidewinder and a dealer of these machines.
I am part of the expedition group In Water Under Land that explores mines around Sweden. I am also part of Expedition Bjurälven where we are working on creating a 3D model of the cave.
